We Went to Foshan. Here's What We Found.

China's furniture capital is not what you'd expect — and that's exactly the point.

Foshan doesn't look like a design destination. No cobblestone streets, no gallery-lined boulevards. Just warehouse after warehouse, showroom after showroom, floor after floor of furniture that somehow manages to be both wildly creative and quietly refined.

We went. We sat in everything. We took too many photos.

And now we're bringing some of it here.

The pieces that stopped us:

A lounge chair shaped like a rabbit — moss green, sculptural, completely absurd in the best way. A bubble sofa in chartreuse that looks like it belongs in a Wes Anderson film. A boucle armchair on a wooden clover base, the kind of thing you'd find in a Parisian apartment and never want to leave. A round ivory sofa so deep you could disappear into it.

None of these are mass-produced. All of them are made to order.

What "made to order" actually means:

These aren't off-the-shelf pieces. Each one is manufactured specifically for us — fabric choice, finish, dimension — which means what arrives at your door is considered, not generic.

It also means lead time. Good things take time. We think it's worth it.

If something catches your eye, reach out. We'll tell you what's available, what's possible, and what's worth waiting for.
